"With the qualities of cleanliness, affection, patience, dignity, and courage that cats have, how many of us, I ask you, would be capable of becoming cats?

"Of all God's creatures, there is only one that cannot be made slave of the leash. That one is the cat. If man could be crossed with the cat it would improve the man, but it would deteriorate the cat."

KAISER OPERA CATTERY
OUR  NAPOleon breeders
Napoleon is the cross between two breeds - Persian and Munchkin. You may choose a regular size Persian breeder - 12-18 lbs or more and a big Munchkin cat.
Or - as we do - you can choose the smallest  Persian cat (usually Silver or Golden) and the smallest possible Munchkin and you get VERY SMALL KITTENS. Half of the kittens will have short Munchkin legs and  half regular size legs, like Persians. These are really dwarf kittens. Our biggest  Persian male is 5.8 lbs and females are smaller. So we do not produce 12-18 lbs size cats, but rather 4.5 - 7 lbs. These are truly DWARF CATS. Than you breed this first generation Napoleon back to Persian and get the second generation Napoleon.  We breed now the third and the fourth generation Naps.  And it looks like if they are "persianised" enough and we can start the true breeding - Nap to Nap. Which will means another downsizing of our kittens.
We never used the extreme face Persians in our program - only doll face cats.
Now we can produce many different colors of Napoleons.  Solid - like blue, chocolate, lilac or cinnamon, pointed, bicolor and calico and of course those very small and cute Silver and Golden kittens with beautiful expressive eyes and a strong mascara.
And of course we still use our Persian breeders to breed Napoleon kittes, so you can see some of the parents on the
PERSIAN QUEENS AND SIRES page.
AMADEUS (above) is a very small Silver blue point  STANDARD Napoleon male and he is mitted.
Really a beautiful example of a Napoleon cat.

CARMEN (below) is our breeder and she produced for us some really high quality Napoleon kittens. Her babies are very loving and pople oriented, as she is.
Our new colors are CHOCOLATE, LILAC, BLUE and CINNAMON. The STANDARD blue kitten from our cattery (bellow) lives now with Miss America.

Another example of Kaiser Opera kitten is this little CINNAMON girl.  Her mother and Grandmother were also born in Kaiser Opera.  She will be our breeder and she may have some kittens for us next spring. She is as small as her mother -  about 4 lbs.
